Different opinions, backgrounds and life experiences create a dynamic learning community. We are committed to increasing our community’s diversity of (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, nation of origin, socio-economic status, sexual orientation and physical ability.

Interviews are the most critical part of the evaluation process—for you and for us. Interviews are designed as a mutual conversation where our discussion focuses on three essential questions:

  • Are you prepared to succeed in this program?
  • Does this program fit your academic needs and goals?
  • What distinctive talents, skills and expertise will you bring to the community?

International Applicants

Pinchot University is authorized to grant I-20 forms to eligible non-immigrant students in the MBA in Sustainable Business program, which then may qualify those students for “Academic Student” (F) visa status. Prior to receiving an I-20 form, international students must submit a Declaration of Finances which certifies that they have sufficient funds to cover a full year of expenses, including tuition and living expenses. Enrollment in other Pinchot programs (MBA in Sustainable Systems, Certificate programs) does not currently qualify an individual for “Academic Student” (F) status.

For further information on requirements for international students, including documentation for student visa eligibility and requirements for English language proficiency, please see International Student Information and contact admissions at

Priority Admissions

Priority applicants to whom we offer admittance will be invited to special events to begin building connections with their classmates and the larger Pinchot University community.

Rolling Admissions

Once a published deadline has passed, applications to all programs are accepted on a rolling basis through the start of the quarter. We strongly recommend that you complete the application process early. We recommend you apply by the priority deadline of January 29, 2016, as interest in these programs are high and seats in the class are limited. If this deadline has passed, we recommend our regular admissions deadline May 2, 2016. When a program reaches capacity, admitted students will be wait listed for the next available start date.

Final Admissions

Late applications are accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on seat availability. Applications for the MBA in Sustainable Systems received after July 30, 2016, are subject to prior Dean approval.

When an MBA program reaches capacity, accepted students may be offered the opportunity to enroll in a Certificate program and be placed on a wait list for the next available MBA program start date. Please contact for information on certificate credit transferability to the MBA programs.

Accounting Prerequisite

Students who enroll in a Pinchot University MBA program are required to complete a prerequisite online financial accounting course prior to their first quarter. Please contact with any questions.
